Visiting Positions

In the Spring of 2005 Michael Peter Smith was Visiting Scholar at the Center on Migration, Policy, and Society (COMPAS) at Oxford University, UK. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the International Center for Advanced Studies at New York University (1998), as well as at the University of California at Berkeley (1990, 1994), the University of Cambridge, UK (1982), and the University of Essex, UK (1979). He has taught as a Visiting Professor in City and Regional Planning at UC Berkeley (1985) and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1982) and in the Graduate School of Public Policy at Berkeley (1981). In the Spring of 2005 he will be a Visiting Scholar at the Center on Migration, Policy, and Society (COMPAS) at Oxford University, UK.
